Site Visit to the HUN-REN ATK Martonvásár |
As part of the scientific program, participants will have the opportunity to visit the HUN-REN Center for Agricultural Research's Agricultural Institute in Martonvásár.
During the visit, participants will tour the laboratories of the Cereal Research and Breeding Departments (Department of Cereal Breeding and Department of Molecular Breeding) and the greenhouse. The heads of these departments will provide an overview of their current research projects.
The visit will also include the Fitotron, where guests will see the plant growth chambers and the new automatic phenotyping system in the hall. Furthermore, the heads of the Department of Plant Physiology and Metabolomics and the Department of Biological Resources will present their ongoing research projects and guide the visit to their laboratories. |

Besides being one of the most influential research center, the Agricultural Institute, HUN- REN ATK, Martonvasar is well known for its location. The research center is located on the Brunszvik Manor in a picturesque setting. The conference dinner will take place in the Brunszvik Castle. |
